Core principles
At the cafegirafe.cz website ("this website"), we collect and process as little personal data as possible, and do so exclusively in relation to gift vouchers and the site's message board. No personal data processed in relation to this website is shared with third parties.

What data we process, when and why?
Gift vouchers
If you express your interest in a gift voucher, we will process the following data:
- name of voucher recipient (you don't have to use their full real name)
- your email address
- your phone number
This data is used exclusively for issuing the voucher.
We keep this information in our database for three months and delete it afterwards.
Message board
If you post on this website's message board, we will process the following data:
- your name (you don't have to use your full real name)
- your contact information (not required)
- message content
By sumbitting your message, you agree to have the name and message (not the contact) published on this website, and to have your personal data (if any was entered) processed.
We keep the messages indefinitely, as a proof of our restaurant's history. If you want to delete your name or message from the board, please contact us by email.
How is your data stored?
Your data is stored on secured servers in Czechia, EU. Any internet communication related to the data takes place over SSL/TLS secure protocol.
Cookies
At this website, we use cookies to:
- make the website work (forms)
- analyse traffic in order to improve our services (Google Analytics without advertising features)
- display the embedded Google Map on Contact page
These cookies do not contain any data that could identify you as a person (which is forbidden by Google terms anyway). IP adresses are anonymised prior to being sent to Google (and we can't access them at all). Data stored in cookies is accessible to Google Ireland Limited (reg. no. 368047), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, as a data processor, under these (Analytics) and these (general) conditions.
You can delete and/or block cookies in your browser configuration.
Data breach
In case of a data breach of either this website's database or a third party data processor's database, we will notify all concerned persons and relevant authorities within 72 hours.
Changes to the Privacy policy
This policy can change over time due to new legislation and/or evolution of this website (and the web in general). Updates will be listed at the end of this document.
